Wayne
Toups - Saturday, October 27, 2007
Born
and raised in the heart of Acadiana, he grew up around the traditional
sounds of Cajun Music. At the age of 13 he surprised relatives
and friends with his quick ability to learn the beautiful waltzes
and bouncy two-steps. In 1987 Wayne formed his own band, "Zydecajun",
and in 1989 Mercury Records released "Blast from the Bayou",
the first Cajun/Zydeco record to chart on Billboard's Top Pop
albums. With this new found success came the demand for appearances
and Wayne Toups and Zydecajun found themselves touring the world
over. Other recording artists, such as Mark Chesnutt and Sammy
Kershaw, fond of his masterful control of the diatomic accordion,
began using him in their sessions. With the release of his album
"Little Wooden Box" in late 2000, Wayne Toups became
one of the hottest tickets in the South!

Wade
Bowen- Friday, October 26, 2007
He’s
a familiar and awarded name in music, performing along the active
touring highways of Texas and the Southwest and selling out
top venues like the legendary Gruene Hall in New Braunfels.
Carving out a dedicated fan base with his magnetic appeal and
proven abilities, Wade Bowen has enjoyed a 7 year stint as a
leader amongst a flourishing Americana and Alt-Country music
community. From the numerous successes of his February 2006
release, Lost Hotel, to his recent tour with Lee Ann Womack
and Friends, Wade Bowen shows absolutely no sign of slowing
down. The video for “God Bless This Town” debuted
on the Top 20 countdown on CMT and stayed in the #1 spot for
several weeks on CMT’s Pure Country 12 Pack Countdown,
in the company of pinnacle artists like Alan Jackson and Brad
Paisley.

The
Woods
The Woods
is a four-piece band from Texas that has generated a considerable
amount of buzz in the Texas Music scene. Jeremy Todd (Lead Singer)
from Houston has a diverse musical background which includes:
the blues, alternative, and country all mixed into one, which
the band refers to as ya'llternative. Jeremy's voice is unlike
any other singer you've heard before and one that you will never
forget. Justin Moore, a.k.a. "the hippy," (Lead Guitar,
Harmony Vocals) comes from Honey Island where he grew up playing
gospel music. He's a very original picker with a soul sound
you have got to hear to believe. Kevin Allen (Bass) currently
resides in Houston and his influences derive from a wide variety
of styles from classic-country, all the way to 90's rock/metal.
Derek Watkins, (Drums) presently lives in College Station and
combines his rock background with some good ole country sounds
helping make The Woods a full package!

Larry
Tillery
Tillery started
playing guitar at the age of ten. After a handful of lessons,
he struck out on his own to eventually develop his own style.
He has played throughout Southeast Texas and Houston at clubs
such as The Hideaway, The Big Easy, Cosmos, Shakespears, Antone's,
Rocks and clubs on Crystal Beach. He didn't have to look far
to find a band... the guys playing with him also happen to be
some of his best friends. You're not going to hear anything
at Tillery's show except some good old down home blues... see
you there. |

Jimmy
Kaiser
Jimmy
Kaiser knows that life is about making choices. After
all, the budding Texas country rocker has already made
some big choices in his young life: leaving the security
of a well-paying job to pursue his musical dreams, and
then moving on from the comfort of the rising Texas country
act he led with his brother to go it alone as an artist.
Kaiser shares his aspirations, life questions and the
lessons he's learned with his growing legion of devoted
fans in songs like "Always Searching." Their
appreciation for what he offers is witnessed by the way
they pack themselves at the front of the stage and sing
along with his words. And with his new album, I'm Gone,
Kaiser's followers now have a dozen more numbers to add
their voices to. |
